Heart2Mind

In collaboration with Heart2Heart, a non-profit organization fundraising to provide surgery to children suffering from Congenital Heart Disease (CHD), Heart2Mind addresses the mental health of these children as they undergo recovery. Suhani Chawla, from Shanghai Community International School and the founding Ambassador of Triple A, hopes to emphasize the importance of mental health through Heart2Mind by providing children and their families with mental health professionals for support, recruiting volunteers to interact with children and continue promoting Heart2Heart's work.

Volunteering

Interacting with children who are in a hospital daily can be a great way to help them let go and remind them that everything will be okay. Visit Heart2Heart's website to learn more.

Mou Rouyi

At the age of two, Mou Rouyi was diagnosed with CHD which put grave financial strains on her family. However, by fundraising over 30,000 RMB ($4,188 USD), Mou Rouyi was able to receive surgery and now lives happily with her parents, grandparents, and sister. While Mou Rouyi's physical health has been addressed, it is essential that mental health isn't left behind. That is the purpose of Heart2Mind.
